Jeff walked down to the lake, while I made dinner, and he came back really happy with this place. He's looking forward to doing some fishing... me too!

Sumner Lake State Park
Well... we've already moved on. We decided last night we were ready try a different place. We drove only 50 miles, to Sumner Lake State Park. It's 16 miles out of Fort Sumner... a historic place we will visit while we're here. We're in a small campground... only 13 sites, and right now, it's us, a motorhome that pulled in the same time as us, and the camphost. It was windy when we got here, but it has stopped now.
