Fire and Funnies

Not much to say... but I like to do a post every 3-4 days.  We continue to have Sunny days with temps in the 80's, but the wind today was a little stronger than the last couple days.  Night before last we enjoyed a good fire.

We've been waiting to see who our new neighbors will be for awhile, as the site we had to move from was reserved for an extended time... but I guess they must have cancelled, because there has been a different camper in there every night.  We keep thinking they must be them, then they leave the next morning... Today, a couple moved in and left in a couple hours!  then another couple moved in this evening.

Now for the "funnies".  We picked up a local paper yesterday, and this morning Jeff was reading it.  There were some funnies that made us laugh.  With the stress of the economy... sometimes we just have to laugh!

THE ECONOMY IS SO BAD...

... I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.

... I ordered a burger at McDonalds, and the guy behind the counter asked "can you afford fries with that?

... If the bank returns your check marked "insufficient funds" you have to call them and ask if they mean you or them.

... Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are trading higher than GM.

... Parents in Beverly Hills and Malibu are firing their nannies and learning their childrens names.

... A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico.

... Motel 6 won't leave the light on anymore.

Sometimes ya just gotta laugh!

What we need first and foremost is a balanced diet that is more alkaline than acidic. That way our organs will function properly, and our skeletal health will remain strong.
